But somehow, someone came along with another idea that ruined the potential of the alarm clock – the snooze button. Why would someone sabotage the alarm clock that way an add a device that every 9 minutes will give us an excuse to change our minds? The standard conveniences should also be there like a large snooze button to get a little more sleep, seven day alarm settings, an AM/FM radio with a good reception, etc. Three plates (boards) were specifically designed; one for holding the displays and interface button, one for the clock electronics and one for the speaker, and to act as a base for the entire clock.
